Our client, a top Hotel Booking Agency is looking for an Account Development Manager to join the team. Your key responsibility will be developing and looking after existing Accounts through sales and marketing plans, focusing on maximizing their full commercial potential for our client and cross selling their services. You will also be required to pursue new business through a professional sales process, promoting all of our Clients’ services, which include conferences, accommodation, event management and business travel. Part of your role will, of course, include presenting new ideas and briefs to existing and new clients so a proven track record of ‘client pitching’ essential.

A knowledge of the transportation/railway industry would also be advantageous but this is not essential. You must have professional sales training and a good commercial awareness with the ability to proactively sell. You must be self motivated, with excellent presentation and negotiating skills, will the ability to communicate and express views clearly at all levels. As this is a nationwide role, and home based, it will include some UK travel and some overnight stays, to regularly meet your existing and new Clients. You will also be expected to regularly visit our Clients offices.
