Our client, a top Event Production/Av hire company are looking for a Regional Account Manager. You will have a proven track record of Account Management as well as be able to develop new business on your own initiative. You must have a good working knowledge of the events industry from a technical perspective. Initially you will be developing your client list using your industry knowledge and you will also work closely with the Business Development Executive. This will involve an element of new business calling and initial meetings on your part as well as pitches and proposals and on-site management. You will be expected to maintain and build these relationships to maximise revenue. You will be expected to deliver the clients event to the highest possible standard within the budgetary constraints and look to maximise profitability without jeopardising the quality of each event. Where appropriate you will be ‘event managing’ your events on site, supporting the client & crew, liaising with venue & supplies etc to ensure the event is delivered to the highest possible standard. An excellent salary is offered and you will have the facility & environment to work from home, although a laptop, VPN, blackberry will be provided.
