Job: EVENT/ BANQUETING MANAGER, J B Event Recruitment

A destination Golf resort with two golf courses (one building), Club House, Spa, Hotel and Banqueting facilities for up to 350 requires a knowledgeable, experienced Banqueting Manager to take charge of the Functions business. Reporting to the General Manager in the same way as all other operational Heads of department; The business operates on a patron style management system with HOD’s running their own businesses. The surrounding area of the resort supports a wealth of influential celebrities and sports personalities as well as high net worth customers. The successful candidate will have flair and Charisma to enable him or her to Manage and lead clients through the organisation to successful events. The Events Department has …. in the team who organise prestige events, Fund raisers, Charity Golf Days, dinner Dances and Corporate events. The Banqueting Manager, will have held a similar position before in their career, and will have worked on the floor in an operational capacity. Knowledge of diary systems, lettage procedures, taking enquiries and handling show rounds and conversion to confirmed business is essential. Similarly Catering skill, knowledge of Production and Banqueting recharges Will be necessary to execute this role. You will be totally responsible for the smooth running of the events that you have booked. In addition to good account management, a high standard is required, delivered through fulsome knowledge and a passion for the business.
