Our client is one of Worcestershire's premier live events agencies. They are a fast-growing company providing the full service experience ranging from product launches, large-scale conferences incentive travel packages to brand marketing and multimedia and graphics. Their client list is impressive and includes Jaguar Cars, Vodaphone, BP, Honda, Hyundai, PricewaterhouseCoopers and HP.

To continue the successful delivery of their events, they are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable venue co-ordinator to research and negotiate favourable rates at the range of venues throughout the UK and Europe.

Working closely with the Operations Teams, you will be responsible for:

·Sourcing great venues in accordance with specific event briefs

·Negotiating rates and commission and checking availability for both accommodation and conference space

·Preparation of quotations and costings for your colleagues

·Handling all confirmations of venues paying close attention to their booking conditions

·Development of great relationships with venues, including attending FAM trips and organising visits to our client's offices.

·Building on new and existing relationships with suppliers, arranging meetings for them to present to the project teams and negotiating better rates with all suppliers

·General support of the Operations Department in the organisation of many great events.

The ideal candidate must have a proven background within a hotel or event agency with a fantastic knowledge of venues both in the UK and Europe, excellent communication skills and a confident approach to rate and commission negotiation.
