Job: Audio Visual Technician, Live Recruitment

Our client is a highly respected and successful AV hire company based in the North West of the UK. They are looking to recruit an experienced AV Technician to its small but dedicated in-house team at its Liverpool office.

The business specialises in both servicing the AV requirements of a wide range of local venues as well as the end to end technical delivery of larger events and conferences around the UK.

On smaller projects the AV Technician will be able to work under their own initiative, delivering, installing and operating equipment in a variety of environments, dealing with both clients and suppliers. On larger projects they become part of a larger team and would be involved in the onsite rigging, operating and de-rigging of all associated AV equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience ideally working for an AV technical supplier or similar business for at least 1 year. From this knowledge they should have a very good all round technical knowledge of a wide variety of AV equipment including; PA, video and projection equipment, along with some experience with sets, staging and lighting. A full driving licence is also essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for an existing technician who is looking to quickly develop their career in a well respected and expanding business, or an in-house technician looking to get in to a more challenging corporate events environment.
