A major Worldwide Exhibition organisation are looking for a number of high level Exhibition Directors - Head of Exhibition Candidates to manage major Exhibition Portfolio's.

ROLE: Exhibition Director - Head of Exhibitions

LOCATION: London

BASIC: £60k to £80k

BENEFITS: Full benefit package, including high bonus

ROLE: To manage an Exhibition Portfolio, To be head over all functions to include: Sales, Marketing, Operational Teams, Full profit and loss, exhibition strategy management. High level.

·Developing, implementing and evaluation show strategy for growth

·Manage entire Exhibition Title, including sales and operational teams.

·Four Managers / Directors required to manage 1 of the 4 exhibition portfolios in different industries

·The four Exhibition portfolio’s range from £1 million to £15 million in annual revenue.

·Meeting/exceeding event success criteria through full P&L responsibility and meeting visitor targets as laid out in the show strategy

·Ensuring sustainable portfolio growth by developing/maintaining events reflecting their markets now and in the future

Actively manage, motivate and develop the sales, marketing and operational teams, supporting them to meet their objectives.

Meet/exceed event/exhibition success criteria by achieving portfolio contribution and visitor targets

·Work closely with and support/guide the sales team to ensure individual and team target revenues are met,

·Strategic business development and major account management

·Develop new revenue streams

·Drive sales forward by setting and ensuring marketing team meets visitor type, quality and quantity targets

·Astute budget control

Develop profitable new project ideas, plan, present for approval and implement successfully. Deliver sustainable growth. Ensuring sales team spends enough time communicating with clients either face to face or on the phone (as appropriate) to ensure that targets are met and where possible exceeded

Ensuring team has effective sales material.

Updating MD regularly on forward sales position

Monitoring competitive exhibitions.

Manage Marketing team to ensure they deliver effective marketing strategy and plans, timely implementation and evaluation which support each show’s strategic objectives. Recommends and oversee effective implementation of web strategy for all exhibitions

Ensures effective and timely registration processes

Ensures effective marketing collateral design and distribution – ticket/newsletter/catalogue

To work closely with the Operations function to ensure shows’ operational aspect supports the event’s strategic aims.
