Marketing Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join a privately owned event marketing and management agency in London. Your key role will be to support the generation and execution of a marketing strategy for a portfolio of unique venues,  driving ambitious growth plans.  Some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Support in developing and implementing the Marketing Plan across the complete marketing mix:
  • Online: ensuring web platforms are rich with current, engaging content which will drive positive SEO results
  • Social Media: developing the use of social media across the venues to drive interaction and conversation with our clients and prospects
  • Email: managing the email plan across the group of venues, communicating enticing messages and driving cross-promotion across the group
  • Advertising: support the Head of Events in identifying key publications and planning activity to reach our target audience
  • Database management: growing and maintaining our database of existing and prospective clients
  • Manage and develop relationships with advertisers, suppliers and design agency
  • Ensure the consistency of brand, messaging and marketing activity across the portfolio of venues
  • Be aware of market trends and competitor activity, conducting regular bench marking and research activity
  • Develop reliable, accurate reporting to assess ROI of marketing activity
  • Support the team in developing compelling and clear communications
  • Work with the team to deliver innovative and dynamic pitches, proposals and presentations for new projects
  • Responsible for financial and marketing forecasting, and work to strict budgets
  • Take a creative marketing approach to maximise opportunities from events
  • Develop strategic and innovative marketing strategies for new venues
  • Play an important part in developing a strong, vibrant marketing culture within the company

The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing professional with strong all-round marketing expertise and knowledge of the latest marketing trends with a keen interest in events. You will have an enviable reputation for tactical marketing execution and be looking to develop your experience in strategic marketing planning. You will be able to show evidence of creativity in developing a brand, identifying marketing trends, producing strong, appropriate messaging and innovative content to engage our broad audiences. Your commercial acumen and creative skills will be second to none, together with your ability to build enduring relationships.
