THE ROLE

Due to ongoing success there is now an exciting opportunity for a Conference Manager to come on board and ensure the organisation and delivery of conference programmes across their portfolio of topic areas.

Responsibilities are broad and include:

*Researching industry trends
*Identifying and acquiring speakers
*Speaker liaison and management (pre-show and onsite)
*Confirming meetings and interviewing delegates, exhibitors and press
*Producing the conference programme
*Liaising with internal departments
*Overseeing the website conference content
*Proof reading and amending conference programmes / timetables etc (if necessary)
*Post event reporting and analysis
*Managing conference budgets
*Attending and networking at events
*Onsite management including managing speakers

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have experience of managing conferences end to end, ideally from within a conference organiser or similar (event agency, association or corporate company). Candidates must have a proven background in speaker management and have meticulous attention to detail. A proven background in developing conference programmes and delivering conferences from initial brief through to onsite management is essential. Industry knowledge in either the financial services or logistics sectors would be an added bonus! Candidates must be open to both UK and international travel as they will be required to go onsite to manage the events.
