An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Marketing Manager on a world leading exhibition, with over 34,000 attendees. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering measurable marketing campaigns on time, within budget and to a consistently high quality whilst helping to achieve the strategic business objectives across the portfolio. You will have a proven track record of implementing successful campaigns for large scale B2B exhibitions and conferences, together with experience of managing large show/project teams. You will also have a thorough understanding of the full range of marketing communication tools, be financially aware and have complete knowledge of the registration process for major events, including all elements of exhibitor customer service and onsite traffic and admission management.

Main responsibilities include:
  • Delivery of all campaign applications on time, to budget and to the highest standard
  • Creating and managing campaign schedules, contributing to the benefit of the entire portfolio
  • Producing marketing communications collateral
  • Coordinating other third-party service providers including PR, media and distribution agencies
  • Organising promotional activities, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and within agreed budgets, including presence at other events
  • Managing a full-time marketing executive plus a greatly enlarged marketing team in the event year, including freelancers/temps/contract workers
  • Managing and maintaining product websites
  • Monitoring and maintaining relationships with key suppliers
  • Initiating and executing international media and association/key stakeholder partnerships
  • Close and careful management of registration process
  • Creating a quantified number of leads for the sales team
