Event Manager
A leading membership organisation seeks a Senior Event Manager to oversee the running of an extensive training programme and support UK-wide conferences. Leading the events team, you will oversee budgets, develop new training initiatives, and assist with marketing. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, including conference production, with knowledge of a CRM and/or design package desirable.

Main duties include:
  • Providing on-site support for conferences across the UK including; registration of delegates, briefing speakers and chairmen
  • Programme and speaker management of the annual conference working with the conference committee and event manager
  • Producing budgets and overseeing the expenditure for the training programme
  • Monitoring and reporting on financial performance and delegate numbers throughout the year, taking agreed appropriate action where necessary
  • Acting as Secretary to the education committees
  • Agreeing the national training programme with the education committee
  • Development of the training events with the individual committee
  • Working with graphic designers and creating copy for brochures and marketing
  • Liaising with the head of marketing and the marketing executive over marketing initiatives
  • Overseeing and developing new training initiatives
  • Line management and providing guidance and support in developing the individual members of the events team
