THE COMPANY
Established in 2004 this exciting agency has developed a portfolio of clients spanning a wide variety of brands, governing bodies and agencies within the sporting sector. Experts in interactive sports activations this organisation have delivered projects at some of the most high profile sporting events across the world. Whether their clients are looking for a one day sport simulation, a week long fan zone build or a year long roadshow they focus on delivering activities and experiences to allow brands to engage with sports fans across the world. They design, produce and deliver bespoke solutions for each individual project and client.
Due to extensive growth and exciting future plans they are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team.
THE ROLE
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving the growth of new business wins and will be responsible for the full 360 sales process.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Proactively researching new sales prospects
*Generating new leads
*Carrying out calls, meetings and follow up communication
*Converting leads into new business wins
*Preparing RFPs and proposals
*Pitching for new business
*Managing relationships with existing clients
*Unearthing new opportunities within existing accounts
*Networking at events and trade shows
*Working within a target driven environment
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in proactively seeking out and winning business ideally gained from working with an event agency environment, although other event related backgrounds will also be considered. Candidates need to have experience in managing the full 360 sales process and will have strengths in working proactively and in managing ongoing relationships. A proven interest or background within the sporting sector is essential!
