THE COMPANY

This innovative agency are recognised for delivering cutting edge projects that attract spectators in their thousands. A specialist area of their work is producing a portfolio of festivals that connect with audiences through their passion of either extreme sports, music through to gastronomy and contemporary art.

Offering in-house services including events, marketing, creative and production, there is little this agency doesn't cover. The teams are hard- working and work closely to ensure each project they create is as energising and thrilling as the last!

Due to on-going success there is now a unique opportunity for a talented Senior Festival Coordinator to come on board. Sitting within the events department, you will oversee a small team and have overall responsibility in overseeing all administration and planning required for each festival.

THE ROLE

Due to new business plans we are seeking to recruit a Senior Festivals Manager to take a leading role in the Event Management team, working across the award-winning portfolio of festivals and events.

As Senior Festival Manager you will take the overall project lead on multiple events with the additional responsibility of leading the creative project management across all events.

You will help grow the events and festival arm of the business, through introducing new ideas and concepts and ensuring that they represented at the right events with the right target audience!

This is a broad and hands on role which will involve;
  • Working with senior management and developing events/festival strategy
    Developing a schedule of events
    Carrying out industry research
    Developing and growing relationships with stakeholders / venues / events / festivals
    Ensuring successful brand experience at all attended festivals and events
    Managing and reporting on budgets
    Managing event logistics and operations (catering equipment, festival trailers, menu choices, pricing, retail assets)
    Liaising with suppliers
    Financial planning of each event, including 5-year plans and the annual setting of all budgets


THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for candidates that have experience working within the festival / outdoor events sector - ideally where you have launched / grown revenue. We will also consider experiential agency candidates that have work on large scale commercial consumer projects.

It is important that you have the commercial ability to drive new business revenue, grow and develop relationships as well as oversee the delivery of the event.

In return, you will become a key decision maker helping to drive and implement new ideas for each project, creating exceptional experiences.
