Rare opening to join the Events Team of a leading London law firm for a slick and extremely well-presented corporate event organiser who deals regularly with all the key London venues and fine dining restaurants!

The Company

Leading international law firm based in London.

The Role

As Events Executive you will be working alongside one other Events Executive (both of you will report in to the Head of Events) to plan and deliver a range of client entertaining and networking events for law firm partners. Events will include breakfast briefings, executive lunches, private dinners, client entertainment, retreats, bespoke hospitality and the Annual Partners’ Meeting.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and presenting ideas
  • Event Management
  • All event related logistics (catering, AV, etc)
  • Venue sourcing and negotiation
  • Supplier and contractor liaison
  • Budget management
  • Design and print
  • Speaker liaison
  • Post event analysis

The Candidate

You’ll be a polished, articulate and well-presented event professional with experience of organising high-end bespoke client entertaining & networking events for senior exec level guests and clients. You’ll have outstanding communication skills, strong attention to detail and be confident working with and advising very senior staff, partners and members. You’ll also be a hard working team player with a good sense of humour who is just as happy strategically devising unique events as you are doing all the basic event chores such as stuffing envelopes, preparing and outing up signage etc… !

You will need to have:-

Organised (on your own) events from concept to completion

Organised private dinners, drinks receptions, business briefings and bespoke hospitality

Used and contracted external London venues and suppliers

Advised clients on what events work and which don't

Excellent London venue knowledge and good contacts for fine dining restaurants & exclusive bars – you should be able to name London venues and provide ideas for dinners, receptions and client entertaining off the top of you head!

It goes without saying that strong event management and bespoke high-end client entertaining experience is an absolute must for this role!

Event opportunities to work in-house for prolific law firms don’t come around very often and with a generous salary and really good benefits package this is about as good as it gets!
