This role will report to the Sales and Events Manager

As the Sales and Events Administrator, your primary responsibilities are to support the Sales and Events Manager in the organisation and sales administration of our Christmas parties at four UK based sites. The right candidate will not necessarily have experience in the events industry but as a result of previous office experience, they must thrive and deliver in a fast paced and often pressurised environment and be able to manage their time effectively to ensure deadlines are met. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who is looking to play an integral role within a small but successful and young but experienced team.

Key day to day tasks of the Sales and Events Administrator:
• Using a tailor made party booking system, the Sales and Events Administrator will input party bookings, process payments and liaise directly with party booking clients to finalise the details of their Christmas party
• The Sales and Events Administrator will be required to make outgoing sales and courtesy calls to both existing and new clients; therefore a polished and confident telephone manner and good communication skills are essential
• As part of the Christmas sales and events team, the Sales and Events Administrator will be tasked with achieving sales targets set by the Sales and Events Manager
• A focus on customer service is required at all times as the Sales and Events Administrator will be the first port of call for customer queries in advance of their party
• Working closely with the Sales and Events Manager, the Sales and Events Administrator will successfully organise and manage all Christmas party mail outs
• The Sales and Events Administrator will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with party booking agents to ensure they are working to promote Quantum Leap Events’ parties
• The Sales and Events Administrator must ensuring we have ample stock of brochures, envelopes and marketing material for forthcoming marketing activities
• Due to the nature of the role, the Sales and Events Administrator will often be required to work unsociable hours and attend events to support the on-site management teams whilst dealing with any customer queries face to face
• The Sales and Events Administrator must have excellent and advanced knowledge of all Microsoft programmes; in particular Word and Excel
• Other ad hoc duties include stationery orders, filing and data entry

• Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office Essential)
