A rapidly expanding event technology company based in Berkshire has an urgent requirement for an Event Support Coordinator to work on their charity events. Your responsibilities will be:
  • Work with Event Manager to ensure the effective delivery of events
  • Work with Event Manager to conduct client welcome calls to ensure you have a full brief of event
  • Design the clients' auction site using the company template system and Photoshop
  • Ensure all auction lots are being maximized using correct spelling, grammar and working with client to ensure the description is the best it can be
  • Work with clients to ensure that their micro site, mobile application and tablet application is to company standard and clients' requirements
  • Maintain clients' sites to ensure customers are updated with lot changes and any other amendments
  • Work with Event Manager to ensure the correct auction lots are on in the correct auctions and maximized
  • Work with suppliers to manage all collections and post event delivery
  • Work with Event Manager to ensure that your section of the event brief has been completed
  • Support taking payments when required post event
  • Work with finance team to ensure event is reconciled on schedule
  • Ensure all reports are sent to client post event and are correct
  • Use company SOP's and check lists at all times

Person Specification:
  • Two years customer service experience, ideally from the events industry
  • Good Word and Excel skills
  • Ideally good Photoshop knowledge
  • Proof reading will be required so excellent spelling and grammar are essential in addition to exceptional attention to detail
  • Organised - to be able to support between 10-30 clients at any one time
  • A creative flair in order to produce the best possible auction sites for clients
  • Client management - to ensure that we meet our client's expectations but also the needs of our business. The skill to juggle both is essential and the way you communicate it is key
  • Excellent customer service is paramount to our business. We need the type of person a client wants to speak to
  • Empathetic - the key part of your role will be to work daily with charities. We want a person that cares and takes pride in their work. Having an empathetic nature is critical
  • Ambitious - the Event Specialist will be expected to eventually move into an Event Manager position
