Superb manager opportunity for an ambitious B2B marketing professional to lead on a growing and expansive portfolio of shows with international travel opportunity!

The Company

A leading global events organiser to both trade and consumer markets producing over 500 events internationally throughout the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia Pacific and Africa! This client boasts fabulous South West London offices, with an excellent benefits scheme and working environment.

The Role

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior marketing executive or manager to take responsibility for marketing a portfolio of events including leading global brands in the Energy and Marine sector. The role holder will be instrumental in developing strategies and delivering effective multi-channel campaigns internationally calling on experience in analysis and insights, strategy and planning, budgeting and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build sound understanding of the Energy and Marine sector
  • Evaluate consumer and market insights and plan/produce an engaging marketing plan in line with show objectives
  • Develop the annual marketing budget
  • Oversee multi-channel campaigns in line with scheduling, budgets and targets
  • Continue to develop new initiatives and special events to build on existing success
  • Analyse and measure campaign effectiveness
  • Manage successful relationships with a range of stakeholders and suppliers locally and internationally

About You

As an experienced manager, you have demonstrable working knowledge of strategy and multi channel campaign management for B2B marketing with a proven successful track record. Ideally you have relevant industry knowledge of Energy and/or Marine sectors. You are a strategic thinker, with strong analytical and numerical skills with previous budgeting experience.

Key Requirements:
  • Previous substantial B2B marketing experience in a relevant sector
  • A solid understanding of online marketing and segmented initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong copywriting ability
  • Previous database management experience
  • Willingness to travel globally
  • Line management experience desirable
  • Creativity to develop new ideas and initiatives
  • Excellent relations management and partnership acquisition
  • Excellent prioritisation and time management, able to work to tight deadlines and within financial parameters.
