A leading international exhibition organiser seeks a Senior Marketing Executive to assist in the execution of the exhibitor, visitor and conference marketing campaigns across the portfolio by providing support to the marketing team and Portfolio Director in the coordination of the events, taking the lead in key campaign elements. You will be a highly competent and driven SME who has the ability to oversee several key campaign elements, with excellent, project management skills, marketing and communication skills and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will have significant marketing experience within the events or exhibition industry.

Main duties include:
  • Contribute to the marketing and communication strategies for each product
  • Execute marketing campaigns which achieve maximum penetration and response, through effective messaging and creative design, which are on time and within budget
  • Effectively manage and co-ordinate external marketing suppliers including creative agencies, mailing houses, printers, registration companies, PR and website agencies
  • Produce clear and effective briefing documents for external suppliers and internal service departments
  • Proactively manage external media and association relationships in order to extend the campaign to the broadest possible relevant audience.
  • Write and proof marketing and sales collateral to include e-shots, direct mail and website copy
  • Oversee show websites from a marketing and content perspective
  • Contribute to the portfolio's digital marketing and social media strategy ensuring that marketing techniques are current and effective
  • Contribute to the research, planning and co-ordination of the overall marketing campaign
  • Analyse all marketing activity, assessing effectiveness and make recommendations for future activity
  • Contribute to the planning and development of research campaigns - to include annual strategic research, on site research and post-show exhibitor and visitor research
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of the products and the marketing team as a whole
  • Visit competitors' shows and write up experiences of that show. e.g. innovative features, successful campaigns, strong branding and sponsorship elements
