An established full service events management agency has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Sales and Marketing to establish and grow a new sales department by creating a robust process to maximise opportunities. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of agency sales and winning pitches, with excellent commercial and negotiation skills.

The successful candidate will have significant experience at strategic level within an agency environment. A strategic and commercially adept individual, you will be an expert in managing key client relationships as well as managing internal teams with the ability to develop and motivate.

Responsibilities include:
  • Establish structured sales process with use of the CRM system
  • Manage external cold-calling freelancers' workload
  • Provide sales and marketing strategy and report to the Board of Directors
  • Full financial reporting (cost per acquisition and margins)
  • Provide targets and strategies to Account Directors
  • Incentivise and motivate the Accounts team.
  • Work with Account Directors to provide competitor analysis insight to Head of Strategy and Product Development
  • Translate company product strategy and positioning into effective marketing collateral
  • Be accountable for digital marketing and keeping website, social content up to date
  • Manage all marketing campaigns end-to-end
  • Manage relationships between marketing, sales and event teams
  • Develop and manage sales/marketing and operating budgets
