Event Sales Manager
An exciting venue in Cambridgeshire seeks a Sales Manager to generate new business through actively selling the venue, facilities and services. The ideal candidate will have experience in event sales, with a proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets and the ability to develop new business and build long-term customer relationships. They will also be financially adept and commercially astute. Event or venue sales experience is essential for this role.
- Identify, develop and secure new local business opportunities by proactively selling the venue's facilities and services to corporate and MICE clients
- Deliver revenue and profitability against agreed sales targets
- In conjunction with the business development manager , develop a sales strategy to achieve new sales
- Create new sales leads and identify new sales opportunities
- Set up and attend client meetings in order to secure new business
- Work alongside the BDM and marketing partners to develop a marketing strategy to support local sales activities
