An international conference management agency is looking to recruit an Event Assistant to be part of a small, passionate and creative team. You will be responsible for assisting with the organisation of conferences and business events in the UK and around the world for a range of clients.

This is an organisational and creative role and would suit someone who is highly organised, resourceful and enthusiastic and who is interested in building a career in event management. The role will involve assisting with research, contract negotiation, budget management, logistics management and you will liaise with clients and suppliers. The role will involve travel and you may be away from home for extended periods (sometimes up to 2 weeks).

The ideal candidate will have some prior experience of events management, ideally working within a similar role on corporate events. You will be a strong team player, valuing the input of others and taking responsibility for the part that you play. You should be able to consistently follow processes which are in place with a high degree of self compliance.
