Dynamic, talented world-class Account Director needed to manage a fast-paced, high profile, world-class global account at this leading live events agency.

You will be responsible for leading a high profile, fast paced global account.
You will be the key contact for the clients, the agency conduit and will lead by example, working with international stakeholders and a talented team to deliver from across the agency. An excellent understanding of strategy, campaigns, stakeholder management delivered through content and major global events is required as is a good knowledge of the full marketing mix.
You will spend considerable time at the client offices in Central London - there you will become an integrated part of the team, managing client expectations, developing relationships and future account work. Therefore it is important you are a people person, agile and responsive to client needs and with outstanding networking and presentation skills. You will be dealing with the highest levels in the organisation down and must be comfortable operating at this level.
Back at base, you will work in a supportive environment, where team-working is the norm and surrounded by people who are passionate about what they do and determined to do whatever it takes to deliver.

  • Minimum of seven years in an equivalent Account Management role within a similar sized and quality organisation
  • Agency experience at a senior level
  • Core account management & strategic communications skills
  • Full marketing-mix experience with emphasis on content and global event experience
  • Familiarity with defining and delivering business goals
  • Proven capability to lead a multi-million pound account
  • Team leadership
  • Superb communicator, both written and oral
  • Strong specialist in live presentations, both preparation and delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to people at all levels
  • Commercially astute: high level of business and commercial awareness
  • Capable summariser: able to distil the core needs in an opportunity and express these effectively
  • Numerate: able to develop and work with budgets
  • Analytical: able to interpret data and develop robust, relevant assumptions
  • Cultivate senior client executives who influence new business decisions/generate opportunities
  • Persuasively explain the benefits of M's solutions to the client
  • Intelligent and inquisitive, with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Responsive, proactive and innovative
  • Accurate, patient and always attentive to detail
  • Open; honest… with a strong sense of integrity; credible
  • Comfortable working to deadlines while juggling multiple projects
  • A team player and a team leader
  • Consistent and self-disciplined
