One of the world's best known international exhibition organisers seeks a Marketing Executive to help lead and drive their marketing across two of the company's most significant portfolios. Delivering a successful and wide reaching, marketing campaign, promoting both brands, ensuring visitor quantity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Alongside the Portfolio Marketing Manager will execute all marketing communication activities to ensure deadlines are met and in-line with marketing objectives using email, direct mail, web and social media
  • Implementing dedicated projects to improve visitor attendance
  • Analysing and sharing insights based on the results of marketing activities
  • Management of the print process from brief to delivery
  • Specification and management of event websites including setting up the exhibitor zone
  • Updating social media channels and identification of new opportunities
  • Writing material for inclusion on the website and within all collateral and emails
  • Working in conjunction with the PR Exec and external PR consultant, developing partnership agreements with media and relevant associations and liaising with partners to ensure that agreed plans are being delivered
  • Working closely with suppliers including design houses, direct mail companies, printers, PR and registration companies
  • Preparation of data for all campaigns including segmentation, manipulation and validation of data

Experience Required:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong marketing experience across all elements of the marketing mix; preferably from a B2B background
  • Be able to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Be a confident communicator in all mediums - written, face-to-face and on the phone
  • Strong IT skills - confident in Microsoft Office, email and website platforms and social media
  • Excellent creative skills and be able to look at new and innovative ways of approaching the marketing requirements of each event
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Event dates do not move and therefore time management is critical for these roles
  • A lively personality who will work well with the other members of the team as well as independently
  • Able to travel when needed
