We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Technical Production Manager who has a proven background in conference and event production, audio visual, lighting and sound. The ideal candidate would be someone who wishes to develop further their creative blue sky thinking working on our range of events we produce in-house each year.

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional event and conference to customers and delegates. You will need to have excellent project management skills as you will be required to ensure the delivery of well
planned, innovative and engaging corporate event/conferences, logistically and as well as delegate handling. You would be required to work at both of our venues - the ICC Birmingham and the VOX Conference Centre at Resorts World Birmingham.

You will act as the primary contact for clients, from concept and pre-planning through to post-event, and be responsible for up-selling additional services, managing health and safety requirements and running each event on-site. You will need to demonstrate that you are able to build strong relationships with clients to gain clear understanding of their needs, interpret briefs and act as ambassador for the ICC and VOX at all times. 
Skills, education and experience:
 We are looking for someone exceptional - excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with
proven people management experience.
 Event technical knowledge and event production experience is essential.
 Operational understanding of running events in a range of different environments.
 Experience of developing and implementing business plans for venue.
 Exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills.
 Ability to prioritise and delivery to deadlines.
 Proven budget management experience across a portfolio of products.
 Passion, energy, drive and commitment.
 Able to work across several projects and manage time effectively.
 Client focused to deliver a first class delegate experience with venues that meet the unique needs of
each event.
 Health & safety, CAD and WYSIWYG qualifications are an advantage.

You will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to establish productive working relationships at all levels with colleagues, clients and suppliers, with an eye for detail and accuracy and be able to work under pressure to meet regular deadlines.
