An entrepreneurial and dynamic conference and exhibition organiser seeks an Operations Executive to join their growing division of content-led exhibitions. This position is within the Operations Department of the Expo Division. The vacancy is within a team responsible for the successful, high quality execution of a variety of exhibition, including new launches. You will be reporting to the Senior Operations Manager - planning, organising, managing and delivering your event(s).

Show Tasks:

Feature designs - working closely with contractors to ensure all features are built to the best standard, on time, and within budget
  • AV ordering - ensuring best sound quality at all times
  • Furniture and carpet ordering - requirements for each area must be met and within budget
  • Shell scheme specifications - designing the colours / spec of the shell scheme and name board design
  • Catering orders - ensuring catering on the show floor is substantial and up to standard
  • Signage - working with Marketing to use the expo artwork to the best ability, ensuring signage for each area required, and under budget
  • Registration - working with Marketing and the registration company to ensure the best layout and way of working
  • Rigging - where required for theatres, welcome banners and trusses for AV requirements
  • Post-show reports
  • Floorplan updates
  • Staffing role outlines and briefings
  • Delivering new ideas that will improve both the exhibitor and visitor experience
  • Budget control
  • Exhibitor liaison

The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and be highly motivated and enthusiastic. Experience within the exhibitions industry is preferable, and a passion for events is a must.
