THE COMPANY



Our client is an award winning, international, event support services business who work with some of the leading names in the events world!



Established for over 25 years they operate internationally with offices across the UK and Middle East and are looking to keep expanding.



THE ROLE



Due to on-going developments and growth within the business there is now room for a Sales and Development Manager to come on board and hold overall responsibility for the planning and implementation of the company's sales strategy.



Planning for the future growth of the business, defining long and short term strategic goals, you will play a key role in the business with the opportunity to become a Director.



There will be an element of team management and mentoring within the UK team to maximise efficiency, quality and productivity.



The role of Sales and Development Manager is broad and includes;



* Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company's customer base

* Set sales targets and KPI's

* Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets

* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

* Selling the portfolio of services

* Identifying new business opportunities

* Oversee day to day activities of sales/account handling teams



THE CANDIDATE



The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of working within events and have a proven background of sales and new business wins. Candidates need the natural ability to build relationships and identify areas to cross / up sell. Given the nature of the company, a technical understanding would be highly desirable!
