A full-service agency seeks a Senior Producer to work on a series of multi-destination events for one of their major accounts, with a particular focus around content and messaging. With responsibility for taking the brief, interpreting and creating a full, holistic experience for the client, the Senior Producer will oversee and manage the development and on site delivery of all aspects of the event from show content to design within budget and to clients' requirements. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, with knowledge of event design including different types of visuals, staging and venue design. You will also have good financial and business skills, with experience of contract management. You will have the option to work from home two days per week, as well as travelling internationally. Main duties include:
  • Take ownership of own assigned events ensuring a flawless show from start to finish and support the design and delivery of larger more complex events
  • Develop the production brief in collaboration with internal colleagues and the client, turning ideas into practical solutions and giving advice and support on how to ensure the delegate experience is consistent, positive and memorable
  • Build an effective network of reliable and highly skilled contractors and suppliers
  • Negotiate, scrutinise and manage supplier contracts to ensure value for money and consistent delivery to agreed standards and deadlines
  • Manage the event on site, effectively liaising with colleagues, suppliers and venue staff to implement the brief, address any issues, own and solve problems and adapt plans as required
  • Develop and own timely and accurate budgets to ensure effective delivery of the event; proactively manage budgets, identifying issues and addressing these early with colleagues or clients, as appropriate
  • Ensure all visuals, venue decoration and other props and show content meet required standards
  • Manage small teams providing day to day guidance and support as required, sharing knowledge and experience to develop their skills
