As Event Manager you'll be working in the professional development team at this leading Association, and be responsible for the varied events and webinar programmes that engage with their professional membership.

The Company:
Prestigious professional body in the financial planning market / insurance market with global presence. They are responsible for providing leadership, relevant learning, policy and representation for the financial planning industry. Highly collaborative, supportive team.

The Role:
The Event Manager will be responsible for the co-development and delivery of the varied event and webinar programme at the heart of their professional development activity. Your key focus will be on the actual implementation/delivery of the events, though you will be closely working with the department head and will need an understanding of relevant content. You will create and deliver inspiring conference and event agendas in line with membership learning and development that is very relevant to the insurance market. You will also have responsibility for sourcing subject matter experts, building relationships and managing speakers, venues as well as general event logistics.

About You:
I'm looking for a highly organised event manager who is experienced at delivering high quality events within the general insurance space. You will understand how the CPD proposition fits in with wider membership engagement and understand the 'bigger picture.' You'll have excellent event project management skills including timing and budget control with a collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
