An extremely exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Events to join this live events agency. The agency create and own their own large-scale live events and are looking for someone to spearhead the business, taking a focus on commercialising these events, while bringing a knowledge and passion of lifestyle orientated live entertainment, music and extreme sports!

Working closely with the CEO and CFO, to develop strategy to deliver against a portfolio of large-scale festivals
Setting, overseeing and taking financial accountability for the P&L's of each event, ensuring profitability
Strategically guiding the events to ensure they're at the forefront of live entertainment, partnering with brands to continue the development of content
You'll be overseeing 5 key departments and will have line management responsibilities of each Head of Department across rights & partnerships, production, event management, creative and marketing
Analysing the events on an annual cycle, ensuring all events deliver to set targets and re-briefing or making key changes where necessary
Making business critical decisions and taking a hands on approach to key negotiations and specific industry relationship development
Overseeing the management of the entire team, acting as a mentor for junior members of the team, coming through the business and offering guidance to more senior team members
Forecasting and ensuring key resource is in place, ensuring team requirements are met and in line with demand and profitability
Ensuring maximum efficiency throughout the business and implementing/developing systems and process to match this

Candidates must come with solid experience of business management and will have delivered live events at a senior level
Confidence and gravitas to lead an experienced team with the ability offer guidance as well as delegate where necessary
Proven experience delivering at a high level across rights & partnerships, marketing, production, event management and creative
Track record of financial accountability and managing P&Ls to deliver profitability
Experience within the festival sector would be preferred
Creative and innovative mind enabling you to continuously progress and develop these exciting content rich properties
Passionate, not only about your work but about lifestyle, culture and music
Meticulous planner, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
