Event Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Events Manager with this prestigious multi use venue in the heart of Central London. Working as part of a team of 3, you will work with external hire clients to co-ordinate their event requirements across a portfolio of various size function rooms as well as managing a portfolio of 20 events for internal clients which range from dinners, conferences, AGM's, lunches and social events. This is an exciting role within a recently refurbished venue which is soon to be re-launched to the market.

Specific Tasks:
  • Assisting and coordinating with the day to day events and administration
  • Conduct 'walk rounds' with clients and potential clients and consistently 'sell' Club Services
  • Manage the office efficiently when Events Sales Manager is absent
  • Maintain the MIA standard in Customer Care/Communication Skills and Image
  • Liaise with all key clients
  • Attend networking, MIA, Westminster Collections and other promotional events as may be necessary

Previous Experience:
  • Event Management experience in the meetings industry
  • Relevant Hospitality or Meeting Industry software proficiency
  • Computer Literate
  • Practical experience in Food and Beverage service and functions organisation
  • A strong team player with superior inter-personal skills
  • Highly customer focused
  • Good communication skills with an excellent eye for detail
  • Team player.

  • Recognised academic qualification in Hospitality and Catering (eg OND in Hotel and Catering operations/NVQ Level 3 (Hospitality Services)
