A well-known international exhibition and conference organiser is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Executive. The successful candidate will assist the Marketing Manager to deliver against the agreed marketing strategy for a series of large scale events by assisting with the planning, organisation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns. The key objective of which is to raise the profile of the exhibitions in order to maximize revenue and contribute creatively to the continued growth and development of the portfolio and the organisation.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be highly creative and an excellent team player with the ability to organise their time to manage multiple projects.

  • Previous solid experience in a marketing role in a B2B exhibitions environment
  • A proven track record of implementing successful marketing communications campaigns
  • Experience in social media and new technologies
  • Understanding of database management and segmentation techniques
  • In-depth knowledge of both on and offline marketing
  • Experience using a CRM system eg Pardot and Salesforce would be preferred
  • Sound knowledge of digital marketing practices and channels such as Google Analytics, SEO, PPC and social media
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail, strong copy writing, proofing and analytical skills
  • Strong analytical skills to interrogate data and draw conclusions
  • Proven understanding of tracking and response reporting
  • Project management, planning and organisational skills
