As the world's largest brand experience company, this organisation has a truly global presence offering events and exhibition services to an array of clients. Providing end to end solutions they manage all elements of exhibition design and build from standard shell schemes to bespoke, creative and interactive exhibition stands and feature areas. With experienced in house creative and build teams this agency always offers a custom service for the complex projects that they deliver!

THE ROLE

Our client is now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team in their Midlands based office. This role is an integral part of the team with the successful candidate being responsible for driving the corporate sales activity.

Key responsibilities will include:

*Proactively unearthing new business opportunities (cold calling, networking, client meetings, show *walking etc.)
*Working strategically to develop the pipeline of newly confirmed business
*Developing and nurturing client relationships
*Building existing client accounts by identifying opportunities for repeat business
*Preparing client facing proposals and pitching
*Providing accurate reporting of data
*Working closely with colleagues to ensure consistency in operations and service
*Liaising with internal teams to ensure client briefs are met
*Keeping up to date with industry trends, the market and competitors

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have a strong business development background from within the events industry, with proven capabilities of driving new business forward. Experience from within an exhibition design and build organisation would be an advantage however candidates from production and events agencies or large scale venues will be considered as well as those with experience in exhibition stand, sponsor or delegate sales. You must be a driven and highly motivated individual, confident in a client facing position and most importantly, thrive in an environment that adapts and evolves.
