Production Manager

Gary Beestone Events & Theatre are a production company working across brand activations, live events, outdoor events, ceremonies, sport presentation and Theatre in the UK and Internationally. We are specialists in creative production management, technical direction and project consultancy and have a unique approach that merges theatre and live events.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join our growing team. Working closely with co-directors Zoe and Gary, you will be planning and executing events and theatrical productions whilst offering the best possible production solutions for our clients.  You will have an excellent breadth of technical knowledge and be able to deliver complex production solutions. Client handling and people skills are essential as well as having the ability to develop strong relationships with the team along with extensive experience of complex budget management, technical planning, CAD and stakeholder management. 

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Senior Producer/Technical Director to produce detailed proposals and develop creative solutions to client briefs with a robust technical understanding
• Site visits and venue scoping
• Procure, liaise with and manage all production suppliers
• Produce key project documentation - Schedules, health and safety documentation and complex site plans
• Oversee production transport, crewing and logistics
• Plan and manage project fit ups, production periods, on-going maintenance and get outs for allocated projects
• Onsite production management
• Attend client meetings
• Full financial management in support of the event producer

• Extensive experience of live events (including brand activations) and ideally theatre, with a strong network of contacts and suppliers
• Experience and knowledge of technical and event production
• Ability to work with CAD
• Excellent verbal and written communication
