The very fact you’ve started reading this means you know what the main part of this role is about and to be direct, we’re not looking for people who enjoy ‘smashing the phones’ or ‘kicking down doors’.

Nope.

We’re looking for a strategic thinker, a professional who networks with like-minded thought leaders and understands that your contact book is only as good as the agency who will help you win the project.

Here’s the bit that might really interest you… this is a board level role with profit sharing and equity opportunities.

You’ll also have the option to roadmap the largest existing clients with an account team to help out and a new business manager to initiate contact with new prospects so throw away the ring round sheets and salesforce printouts as those days are over.

If this sounds too good to be true, it isn’t.

All eyes will be on you as the agency ambassador, so this isn’t a ‘filling someone’s shoes’ role, it’s a real big-ticket opportunity in a hunter position and as such isn’t for everyone, only those who like to get very well rewarded for working very well.

As you obviously enjoy meeting people and making lasting connections, you’ll love that a key part of your role is being out there, being seen, being heard, and listening to your peers. All with the goal of ensuring your agency is on the next pitch list, or of course, living the dream and not having to pitch at all.

With your track record in identifying, qualifying and leading pitch teams to deliver winning ideas, this role will suit you more down to the fact you have the chance to lead an entire agency and have your thoughts and ideas acted upon rather than nodded at during the monthly forecast meeting.

As I’m sure you know, there are no sales without marketing and that’s why you’ll love the fact you will oversee, direct and assign the PR agency and Marketing team on your campaign ideas and brand proposition proposal to create an inbound pipeline of opportunities too.

In short, if you love winning new business, creating, implementing and leading marketing and sales strategy, growing existing clients with an embedded support structure in place and have always thought about sitting on a board and helping to lead an agency but finance, circumstance or opportunity never came knocking, well, here’s your chance.
