TEAM MANAGER - EVENTS & VENUE FINDING AGENCY
SOUTH WEST LONDON

A fantastic opportunity to join a global full service events agency and manage a team - if you are looking for an office based where you can use your management skills this could be for you!
THE COMPANY
With a client list to die for this well-established and successful agency is known for delivering a range of international events from product launches and incentives to conferences and meetings. They pride themselves on delivering engaging and inspiring events for their audience which can be hugely complex, with high delegate numbers and budgets of over £1m. Within their full service agency they offer registration, full event management, group travel and venue finding services.
THE ROLE
An opportunity has now arisen to join this exciting agency within one of their established venue finding teams as Event Director / Team Leader - the role will head-up and take the lead across one of their busiest teams where venue finding is the key service offering. This senior level role will be crucial within the business, and key responsibilities include:
* Leading on larger scale, complex projects from a client perspective
* Line management, training and team development of 5
* Monitoring service level agreements across the accounts and projects
* Maintaining and improving department efficiency
* Financial reporting and forecasting, managing a P&L
* Strategic business growth, collaborating internally with the sales team
* Key account management and development
* Overseeing smooth venue finding processes across the team
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate for this role will come from a corporate event agency background and will have previously worked within the MICE industry, ideally with a strong background in venue finding and a regular Cvent user! Line management experience is a must and previous work in leading a team, along with a confident, energetic and diplomatic approach will be a huge advantage.
