Centred on the provision of on-the-go F&B this company offer varied services across their 5 divisions to deliver enhanced customer experiences for each of their diverse clients. With in-house divisions covering the provision of catering, event bars, full logistics, technologies and concessionaires management; they can offer bespoke, individual solutions or work seamlessly together to provide a full delivery service. Established since 1975 and originating as a family business; this company offers a fantastic culture and they take pride in providing support to develop staff to enable them to be the best they can be.

They are now going through a period of rapid growth and are looking for an experienced and proactive Operations Director to join the team.

THE ROLE

Due to ongoing growth they are now looking for an Operations Director to join the team. In this broad position you will be responsible for the operational aspects of their technology division which provides technology solutions such as EPOS, digital signage and wi-fi connectivity to large scale events.

Key responsibilities will include:

*Ensuring client expectations are met and customer experience remains high
*Delivering the overall strategy of the division
*Developing solutions and working practices to improve effectiveness
*Overseeing the day to day operational delivery within the division
*Managing resource planning and project allocation
*Building relationships with key stakeholders and third party providers
*Supervising team performance including; line management, mentoring etc.
*Briefing in the team and overseeing effective delivery onsite
*Managing the division P&L and budget sign off for projects
*Maximising the profitability of each event in line with KPIs

THE CANDIDATE

Candidate must have experience in operational management ideally within an event-lead industry such as festivals or large scale outdoor events. We are looking for candidates who are confident in the strategic development of a business, have experience in leading a remote team and who thrive within fast paced, high pressured situations. An understanding of managing technical deployments such as wireless technology, PDQ, EPOS would be extremely beneficial.
