Funky property company with amazing venue spaces are looking for an Event Assistant to manage external client events at their exciting new venue!

THE COMPANY
Fast paced, finger on the pulse and innovative venue group who will soon be opening their newest multi-functional property in London offering amazing spaces for creative events to corporates, commercial companies, private clients and event & production agencies.

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Events you will become one of two Event Assistants in this expanding team and will plan and manage the events at one amazing new London venue.
Once a booking has been confirmed & contracted you'll take over from the sales team by working closely with the client to plan, manage and execute their event in one of the unique spaces at this new multi-use venue. In this role you'll get involved in all aspects of the organisation and execution of the events including venue layout & configuration, catering, entertainment, AV & production, equipment, theming, signage, resourcing, set-up & de-rig and post event financial admin and invoice processing.
You will also have responsibility for all meeting rooms and the role will sometimes include moving furniture and AV equipment around as well as general event related admin and attending the events, so the post holder mustn't object to rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in! This role offers the post holder a superb opportunity to learn loads and develop their own career and skill set as the business/company continues to grow and expand.

YOU
You'll have 1-2 years' events experience working within a venue environment (perhaps for a corporate venue and you're now looking for something a little more creative), and you'll be bright, super keen, eager to learn and have a fantastic 'can do' attitude. You'll have outstanding communication skills both written and verbal, be confident and proactive and fantastically organized with excellent attention to detail. You must be used to multi-tasking and be able to keep a calm head when under pressure and if you have any AV and production experience that would also be very useful.
