THE EVENT
Major international flagship industry event within the Broadcast sector - attracts over 55,000 attendees, over 1,500 exhibitors - and which is acknowledged as the major show case and discussion hub for the media/broadcast sector. This is your opportunity to join this brilliant team pre-event and on-site!
THE ROLE
You'll be joining the busy events team in the run up to this exciting event - and your day-to-day duties will be providing support to the team, including exhibitor, speaker and supplier communication, pre-show preparation, filing and proofing. You'll be a primary contact for incoming emails from exhibitors and speakers, as well as supporting across all aspects of pre-event preparation. As well as getting great experience pre-event, you'll also be going on site for the event dates in early September!
THE CANDIDATE
You're ideally an event assistant/co-ordinator with at least one year's event operations experience, strong IT skills, especially MS packages, CRM systems, databases and file sharing sites, good communication skills, and attention to detail. The contract is asap start for three months, and includes going on site in the first couple of weeks in September, so you'll need to have a free diary! And available to interview now…
