Roles and Responsibilities
We are The Photo Booth Guys - experts in awesome visual experiences!
Right now, our business is growing fast and we’ve got big ambitions for the next few years. With this in mind, we're looking for an ambitious and successful Corporate Events Administrator.
The Candidate will be a self-starter with creative flare and hungry to learn. You will have great energy, a positive, optimistic approach, great attention to detail, and be excellent at building relationships.
You’ll be starting on the front lines – learning the business from the ground up - setting up and hosting events and getting to know the product as well as the customers through direct experience. You’ll also act as a “duplicate” for our social events administrator, when s/he is out of the office.
The role is based at our head office in Battersea South London. Primarily, you’ll be working with the Corporate Sales Manager, finishing off bookings by capturing all the specific job requirements and products needed to fulfil the sale - owing the job and managing the client all the way through to delivery of the event.
At times, you will also be required to respond to and convert inbound enquiries and assist with presenting our creative solutions to agencies and clients. You’ll be supporting the sales function, but driven from first-hand experience and an intense product knowledge – as gained from your experience on the job.
As such, we are looking for hard working driven individuals, who would relish the chance to get some runs on the board, and at the same time work with some exceptional brands, whilst bringing their administrative prowess and creative flare to the forefront.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role requires the following:
- Be prepared to learn the ropes – starting on the front line, by doing actual Photo Booth Event Jobs, learning all about our products and services.
- Become an expert in our brand and all we do, having “been there and done that”
- Work with the Corporate Sales Manager to capture all the specific job requirements and products needed to fulfil the sale, owing the job and managing the client all the way through to delivery of the event.
- Co-ordinate and schedule staff to work each job
- Fully brief staff about the job, including the what the client is looking to achieve, and how we need to deliver the event to make it a success for the client
- Setup jobs within the various IT systems
- Ensure any artwork customisations are completed and communicated with the Customer and Graphic Designer
- Act as “duplicate” for the Social Events Administrator, covering that role when s/he is away, sick or on leave
- Other administrative tasks (as advised)
- Clerical task, processing time sheets, handing accounts receivable/payable
- Office and facilities management
- Maintain an entrepreneurial approach to the job/propose improvements
- Other tasks as directed
Skills and requirements
- Excellent English language skills
- 2+ years of events sales or corporate sales/account management experience a must
- Brilliant organisational and admin skills
- Photography/Videography experience an advantage
- Self-starter, with great attention to detail, who can work under pressure
- IT literate
- The ability to engage successfully with social media
- Flexible working hours
- Driving license and car a must
- Ability to instantly build rapport
- Act with integrity and honesty.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to solve problems quickly under pressure
- Be available to do front line jobs, as and when required
