This is a unique opportunity to join an award winning boutique event agency and take on a pivotal role in developing the business!

THE ROLE
Due to continued success and growth of the company they are now looking for an experienced BDM to come on board and help drive the business forward. Broad role responsibilities will include:
Developing sales strategy inline with business objectives
Actively developing business from new clients
Generating new leads and converting leads from marketing activities
Working with internal teams and the wider business
Identifying new opportunities
Developing business with existing clients and upselling
Developing RFP's and proposals
Pitching for business
Building long lasting relationships
Networking at events and trade shows
Line management and development of the team
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in seeking out and winning business ideally gained from working within an event agency environment, although other event related backgrounds will also be considered. Candidates need to have a solid understanding of the events market and have experience of creating RFP responses and proposals. Candidates must have strengths in developing relationships and identifying opportunities, as well as pitching for business. A delivery background in this area would be useful but more importantly is ability to build instant rapport and develop long term relationships with clients.
