We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Event Manager to join an exciting and growing events business!

THE COMPANY

Partnering with some of the most iconic large scale event venues, festivals and brands; this forward thinking events company support over 400 of the UKs best events and reach over 15 million people each year. Centred on the provision of on-the-go F&B this company offer varied services across their 5 divisions to deliver enhanced customer experiences for each of their diverse clients. With in-house divisions covering the provision of catering, event bars, full logistics, technologies and concessionaires management; they can offer bespoke, individual solutions or work seamlessly together to provide a full delivery service. Established since 1975 and originating as a family business; this company offers a fantastic culture and they take pride in providing support to develop staff to enable them to be the best they can be.

Due to some exciting and ongoing growth, they are now seeking an Event Manager to join the team and work across their diverse calendar of events!

THE ROLE

In this busy role you will act as the main point of client contact and be responsible for heading up a incredible portfolio of events:

Key responsibilities will include:

*Developing client relationships and understanding their requirements
*Managing project timelines and budgets
*Organising full event logistics
*Preparing client facing proposals/presenting and guiding on solutions
*Collaborating and coordinating all internal stakeholders and divisions
*Working closely with external stakeholders and concessionaries
*Maximising the profitability of events where possible
*Understanding event challenges and implementing contingencies
*Ensuring all activity complies with relevant policies, health & safety and legislation
*Overseeing the install, delivery and break down of events onsite

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this position you will have experience in taking the lead in managing complex events ideally from a festival, large scale venue or outdoor event environment. Candidates with experience delivering experiential projects may also be considered. The ability to lead a team, an understanding of health & safety best practice and an insight into catering and/or hospitality for events would be beneficial. We are looking for candidates who are flexible and resilient with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
