This global, full-service events agency holds event management, creative, production, digital and video services in-house. They are renowned for the planning and delivery of a wide range of events including conferences, meetings, product launches, award shows, incentives and congresses on a global basis. Due to their on-going success, there is now the opportunity for a Technical Manager to come on board and oversee the running of all technical services across each UK and international events. With multiple offices, they offer a great working environment, excellent career progression opportunities as well as the chance to work across a broad range of projects so this is an opportunity not to be missed.

THE ROLE

Client facing in your approach, as Technical Manager you will oversee all technical aspects of your projects.

Overall responsibilities will include:

*Managing client liaison
*Taking client briefs and understanding requirements
*Managing project timelines
*Producing technical specifications and production schedules
*Contracting and negotiating with external suppliers
*Carrying out site visits
*Implementing health & safety processes
*Selecting, briefing and managing crew
*Managing the install and delivery of events onsite
*Creating and managing technical budgets

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will need to have a strong technical background either based within an AV company or production agency. Candidates need to be confident client facing with proven ability to manage the 360 planning process of a variation of global projects.

The ideal candidate will be methodical, self motivated and have a real drive to deliver an outstanding service to high profile clients!
