Superb permanent job for a B2B Events Coordinator to work on an exciting conference / events / summits portfolio within politics & public affairs!

THE COMPANY
Niche commercial conferencing company (part of a large and well-established organisation providing unrivalled insight and intelligence across the spheres of politics, public policy and public affairs). This commercial conferencing company with stunning offices in the heart of London have a large events team that produce top-level and hugely well attended policy briefings and summits across London and further afield nationwide.

THE ROLE
This Event Coordinator position (reporting to the Senior Events Manager) will see you working in the Policy Briefings & Summits division of this highly regarded political information, public affairs & policy communication organization. In this role you will assist on the event logistics & operations as well as sponsor deliverables of a range of top-level summits, briefings, conferences, roundtables, drinks receptions and seminars.
Key responsibilities:-

  • Event Coordination
  • Event logistics
  • Sponsor liaison & sponsor deliverables coordination
  • Venue & supplier liaison
  • Delegate registration
  • Coordination of event collateral
  • Speaker requirements (transport & accommodation)
  • On-site event coordination
  • General event related administration
  • Assisting on post event evaluation & reports

THE CANDIDATE
You'll be highly organised, with brilliant IT and administration skills and excellent attention to detail. You'll need to have a minimum of 6-12 months events related admin and logistics experience ideally working within a business environment for an association, commercial events company or professional body. You'll have great communication skills and be a strong multi-tasker who can juggle multiple projects with calmness, accuracy and good humour!
Key requirements:-

 

  • Around 6-12 months B2B events experience (logistics & admin)
  • Ideally some experience of working with sponsors & speakers
  • Amazing organisation skills and superb attention to detail
  • Experience of working with/for a professional body in a business environment
  • Excellent IT skills (word, excel, PowerPoint, databases, registration systems)
  • High level of customer service focus and very self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills and good oral & written English
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
