Account Director

As part of another very exciting Major Partners partnership we're working with the well renowned and respected Event Production Agency Fisher Productions! It's a really exciting time for the business, seeing continued growth and the need to ramp up their Client Services and Delivery team. We're looking for an experienced Account Director to join the team to head up a really passionate Account Handling Team and ensure business development for the business. We're looking for candidates who love to deliver the absolute best in client service but can also guide and mentor a team to ensure their is second to none.

A senior management role, responsible for growing profitable Fisher business with new and existing clients through effective relationship management and leadership of an Account Management team who Quote, Resource and Produce high specification events at Fisher accredited Venues and other locations.


Build New Business
 Develop and implement strategies to build strong relationships with potential new clients
 Grow business with existing clients through effect Account Management
 Develop and present professional and effective pitches to secure jobs

Client and Venue Relationship Management
 Build and maintain strong personal relationships with designated Venues and Clients
 Work with Account Managers to develop and implement individual account strategies for each client and Venue
 Focus the team on understanding client brands to build robust relationships and add commercial value to secure their future business
 Ensure all events are delivered on spec - on time, within budget, and at or above Client expectations

Enhance Job Profitability
 Qualify jobs effectively to prioritise more lucrative jobs and focus on pitches with highest chance of conversion
 Maintain margin by establishing and implementing effective quoting and budgeting processes
 Ensure all jobs are costed and resourced effectively using freelancers as necessary
 Implement time-sheeting to ensure resource time is charged effectively to client

Team Management/Leadership
 Lead, coach and develop the Account Management team to enhance productivity and results
 Build and engage a high performing team, passionate about delivering an unrivalled and profitable client service
 Work closely with other Account Directors to build a cohesive and flexible team

Strategy Development
 Work closely with Account Director team to develop and drive a profitable, sustainable Client Service strategy
 Work closely with Client Service Director and Marketing to undertake competitor analysis, define target markets and build strong agency branding
 Fully adhere to Fisher's ISO systems and procedures and contribute to their development as required


 Significant account management experience
 Experience producing wide range of live events
 Sales experience preferred including pitching for business

 Leadership and people management skills
 Outstanding client handling and selling skills
 Excellent commercial acumen, recognising opportunities to grow Fisher business
 Advanced influencing skills to win pitches
 Confident communicator including presentation skills
 Highly motivated, enthusiastic leader
 Proactive relationship builder, comfortable liaising at all levels
 Analytical - able to manipulate data and identify opportunities for growth
 Computer literate with the ability to learn and assimilate new software
 Displays a calm and professional image whilst working under pressure
