Job Details
A world renowned conference venue based in the Midlands are looking for an experienced Head of Technical Production. You will be responsible for managing, developing and inspiring the production and technical operational team to deliver a wide range of world class events including exhibitions, concerts, conferences and live events.
You will be responsible for all the production and technical event delivery at two venues, providing leadership for the production and technical operational teams. You will devise and implement a creative strategy within the department to ensure year on year growth. Responsible for P&L and budgets.
You will actively look at future investments in technical kit and new technical offerings.
You will identify new sales opportunities and work closely with the Sales team to ensure production services are being introduced.
You must have excellent management skills to mentor, train and recruitment technical event specialists
Ideally you will have at least 3 years of working within a venue and delivered complex technical event production.
