THE COMPANY

Working with a broad base of clients this small to mid-size events agency designs, creates and delivers high quality engagement programmes & events to drive performance amongst customers, employees and channel partners. Providing full event management they work across a wide range of industry sectors delivering events including conferences, exhibitions, incentive programmes and team building events both in the UK and internationally.

THE ROLE

From taking the brief, to researching and writing the solution, creating the budget and managing the various stakeholders, this is an exciting role in a growing agency with a focus on people, reward & recognition. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Taking a detailed brief or interpreting a brief
• Listening carefully to a clients requirements
• Attending client meetings if required
• Writing a proposal
• Presenting the proposal
• Sourcing suitable venues
• Liaising with external suppliers
• Negotiating contracts with airlines, hotels and DMC's
• Creating event budgets
• Overseeing the proposal development
• Ensuring smooth handover

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have a proven background in delivering a range of events end to end. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to be more involved with the concept and creative aspect behind event as opposed to the end delivery. Candidates should also have a wide knowledge of UK and International MICE venues and destinations as well as a strong commercial awareness and proven experience of budget management.
