Our client is a full service events, marketing and communications agency that deliver live events as part of wider marketing campaigns for an impressive portfolio of blue chip clients across sectors including automotive, telecoms and IT.

Events include large road shows, award ceremonies and experiential events through to large-scale conferences both in the UK and overseas. With in house design, creative, video, production and event logistics they are winning new accounts, growing existing clients and rapidly becoming a key agency to work for.

THE ROLE

Due to their on-going success there is now an opportunity for a Senior Event Manager to join their team and take lead across a broad range of auto projects from initial brief through to on site delivery.

Overseeing a small team on an event by event basis and working with some of their premium brands the role is broad and covers;

Taking the initial brief from the client
Being the central point of client contact
Managing proposal generation and pitching
Organising full end to end event logistics
Liaising with internal departments (design, video, production etc.)
Coordinating supplier management and liaison
Preparing and managing event budgets
Overseeing the delivery of events on-site

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will currently be working for an agency with a solid and proven background of event delivery, having managed their own events end to end. Candidates must be client facing and exposure to working with automotive clients is essential for this role. Logistics experience is key and a production understanding, be it from liaising with internal production departments or gained from working closely with production agencies, would be hugely beneficial. More importantly however is the ability to understand a clients messaging and translate this into interesting and engaging content.
