BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - EVENT SUPPLIER

A unique opportunity to join a leading and dynamic event supplier who work across a variety of sports, festival and outdoor events!
THE COMPANY
This specialist event supplier is one of the best in the business and is renowned for delivering unique bars and event solutions to a portfolio of some of the most impressive outdoor events across the country. With projects spanning from the Isle of Wight to Scotland they deliver a service which is second to none, encompassing full end to end delivery, production management of pop up venues and activations and technology services.
They are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team and support in the growth and development of existing and new clients!
THE ROLE
Working closely alongside the Directors, you will be responsible for managing the full sales process and leading the team to achieve the best possible results:
Your main responsibilities will include:
*Leading the sales process from start to finish
*Developing key relationships with clients
*Generating new business leads as well as retaining existing business
*Proactively identifying, calling and meeting prospective clients
*Scheduling and delegating work flow across the team
*Tailoring solutions in line with client requirements
*Taking the lead in the preparation of pitch documents
*Managing deadlines including responses to tenders
*Developing and monitoring events budgets
*Working in with a commercial focus and maximising profitability
*Line managing a team of 2 direct reports (including KPI and target setting)
THE CANDIDATE
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager ideally with a background from within the outdoor or experiential events sector. To be considered for the role you must be confident in a client facing capacity, have a commercially driven attitude and have proven experience in managing the sales process from start to finish. Any line management experience would be beneficial.
