Job Details

This popular visitor attraction is looking to attract a Senior Events Producer to join their Commercial events team. Working with a stunning portfolio of venues and outdoor space, the Senior Events Producer is tasked with developing, producing and managing a programme of events designed to increase footfall and generate media interest.



Key responsibilities will include :

  • To create and direct a first-class public events programme, utilising all theatre/ studio spaces and explore large scale events and festival opportunities in the grounds.
  • To manage the end to end contract process including selling the space, negotiation of terms with agents, performers, clients and suppliers, and the issuing of contracts, invoices and schedules.
  • To maximise the profitability of events through a stringent management of the events budget, the pricing strategy and identifying new sources of income.
  • To manage an event from initial idea/concept; consolidating an event brief with multiple stakeholders and full event production, through to delivering the event with event planning team.
  • To work collaboratively with other colleagues including Marketing, Sales and Events, the Press Office, Retail and Caterers to ensure income opportunities, ticket sales and press coverage are maximised from the public events programme.
  • To maintain effective liaison with the venue's technical, security, cleaning and front of house teams to ensure adequate staffing and coordination of resources for each event.
  • To work closely with the Development team in identifying sponsorship and other funding opportunities for special projects.
  • To develop and maintain a detailed written operational procedures for public events.
  • To keep up to date with the calendar of events in London, identifying trends in the events industry to ensure that you can spot opportunities to create interesting and varied events and networking where appropriate with other organisations.




Skills and Experience:
  • Extensive experience of delivering a successful events programme at a comparable high footfall site, ideally gained working at a Grade I listed historic site(s) or unique venue(s)/ Visitor attraction.
  • Experience of organising and delivering large-scale profitable, safe and secure events both indoor and outdoor including planning, budgeting and onsite management.
