THE COMPANY
This is an exciting opportunity to be based within a well known, large scale venue! The space is versatile to incorporate their unique range of events including film premiers, experiential campaigns, album launches and music events for a broad range of brands!
Due to on-going success, they are now on the look out for a talented Production Manager to join their team. Not only does this role offer fantastic scope for progression and brilliant benefits to match, it also will provide you with the chance to deliver a variation of projects, where no 2 days are ever the same!
THE ROLE
We now have an opening for a Junior Production Technical Manager to join the Events Marketing team. The key focus of this role is to be responsible for the delivery of multiple events as part of the events programme from concept through to delivery.
You will get involved in the management of small to medium sized events which could include, live music gigs, experiential, exhibitions, pop up events in retail units, indoor and outdoor events including family focused events!
* Taking part in the initial pitch meeting
* Technical specification (working with the Production Manager)
* Interpretation of technical drawings
* Costing & budget management
* Liaising with internal departments (design, events etc.)
* Booking specialist suppliers (set / stage etc.)
* Booking freelancers
* Prepping of equipment and stock
* Rigging and operating of equipment
* Provide technical support to the events team
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have 3 years + as a junior level Technical Production Manager with experience across multiple types of events and clients / agencies/venues. Experience in both indoor and outdoor event production would be an advantage and a strong knowledge across all areas of technical and production including set & scenic, sound, lighting, rigging, video (broadcast & exhibition), data and networking, special effects
