We are working with a leading technical production agency who are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their innovative team.
THE COMPANY
A market leader in innovative technical delivery for events, this company work closely with clients to deliver complete and creative technical solutions bespoke to each and every brief. Offering a 360 service they develop, design and deliver production including programming and operation across production, lighting and video, projection and LED mapping, 3D interactive design and immersive presentations. Focusing across corporate events and conferences as well as music concerts they work with varied clients including pharma giant Allergan, Xbox, Eurovision and V Festival as well as artists such as Maverick Sabre and Girls Aloud.
They are now on the look out for an experienced Warehouse Manager to come on board and join their forward thinking and exciting team!
THE ROLE
Based within their brand new, custom built premises, as Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for managing a small team and overseeing the smooth day to day operation of the warehouse:
Your key responsibilities include;
*Leading a small team of warehouse staff
*Understanding technical kit and keeping updated with AV technology
*Liaising with Project Managers on the equipment specified
*Implementing project timelines
*Working with production schedules
*Managing stock control and inventory
*Overseeing and hands on preparation / testing of all AV equipment
*Maintaining of equipment including PAT testing
*Managing supplier relationships
*Implementing all health & safety procedures across the warehouse/equipment
*Supporting the team with delivery onsite (UK and Internationally)
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience within the AV industry, a good understanding of technical equipment and will ideally have supervisory experience. Whilst this is predominately a warehouse based position you will be expected to support the team in delivering projects on an international basis so a willingness to travel is required.
